Before you read this list

A high price-to-book prices what the balance sheet cannot show

A high multiple of book usually says the value of the business does not sit on the balance sheet: brands, distribution, patents, people and platform effects are never carried as net assets. That is normal for asset-light models and is not a warning in itself. The question worth asking is whether the invisible value lasts — whether it rests on something hard to replicate, or on a favourable cycle and a single large customer.

Full ranking

The population and exclusion rules are the same as on the market distribution page: of 2,227 tickers, 1,078 had a valid reading on the snapshot date, 1,149 disclosed nothing and 0 were excluded as not meaningful. Blanks stay blank — nothing is interpolated or carried forward.

Other rankings

How this ranking is built

01

What is sorted is the snapshot value, not a derived score

Every figure is the version available on the snapshot date, sorted directly — no weighting, no adjustment, no composite score. You can re-sort the same day's raw numbers yourself and get this list back.

02

Same population as the distribution pages, not a separate standard

P/E and P/B include only readings above zero; dividend yield keeps its zeros. Two different populations on one site would give readers unexplainable differences when they compare two pages, so the criteria here are inherited rather than redefined.

03

Ties are kept as ties

Equal values share a rank. No secondary key is used to force them apart, because that would manufacture an ordering that does not exist in the data.

04

Re-sorted every trading day, never rewritten backwards

The list moves with each snapshot and every day is frozen separately. A later restatement produces a new day rather than editing one already frozen.

Frequently asked questions

Which Taiwan stocks have the highest price-to-book?
On snapshot date 2026-09-18 the top name is 3443 at 71.16. The tenth reads 27.21 and the fiftieth 9.02. All fifty, each with its market percentile, are in the table on this page, re-sorted every trading day.
How often is this ranking updated?
Once per trading day, frozen as its own point-in-time vintage. The order you see is the one that was genuinely computable on 2026-09-18 and is never rewritten when a later restatement lands. That matters for backtests: selecting names from a retroactively corrected ranking plants look-ahead bias straight into the model.
Why does the population show 1,078 tickers rather than all 2,227?
Of 2,227 tickers, 1,149 disclosed nothing for this metric on the snapshot date and 0 were dropped as not statistically meaningful, leaving 1,078. The thresholds are set out under how the ranking is built — the exclusions are shown rather than hidden behind a list that merely looks clean.
Does a higher rank mean a better investment?
No. The list does exactly one thing: sort the snapshot values from highest to lowest. It carries no judgement of quality, and rank has no necessary relationship to investment merit — the reasons are set out under what to know before reading it. Judging a single name also needs its own history, the source of its earnings and its sector context.
Can I get this ranking through the API?
Yes. The market-wide latest valuation panel — P/E, P/B and cash dividend yield — is available programmatically on the free tier, and sorting it reproduces this list. Reading the ranking as it stood on any past date requires historical snapshots, which is a paid tier.

This is data and tooling, not investment advice. The ranking is a sort of cross-sectional values for one period; it carries no judgement of quality and is not a recommendation of any kind.
