Taiwan TDCC Shareholder Distribution — 15 brackets, mega-holder ratio

Are mega-holders accumulating or distributing? The TDCC publishes an official weekly 15-bracket shareholder distribution. We structure it into mega-holder ratio, retail ratio and week-over-week concentration change, snapshot-stamped.

Reading the 15 brackets

Brackets run from 1–999 shares up to 1M+. In practice the two tails matter: the 1,000-lot+ mega-holder ratio versus the retail tail. Rising mega share with falling retail share means chips are concentrating. We provide week-over-week deltas and the full history, not one static snapshot.

Why the availability stamp matters

The distribution settles on Friday and publishes the following week. A backtest that attributes the figure to settlement week is using concentration data that was not yet public, which is look-ahead bias in its purest form.

Every row carries the official availability date, so signals only activate once the filing was actually readable.

See it on a chart: the cross-source ownership timeline puts the weekly distribution line, insider transfer filings, director pledge changes and buyback windows on one axis, each placed on the date it became available rather than the date it describes. Free on the demo ticker.
